First, let me just start by saying ‘thank you’ for checking us out! I know the first question that popped into your head when checking out this site is, ‘what is GivingRoom about’. I know this, because you selected the about tab.

GivingRoom.com was founded on the idea that nonprofit organizations, their supporters and socially aware businesses can work together to do good by connecting with each other. GivingRoom.com is a social networking website with one fundamental difference, social awareness. It allows users to create member profiles, causes, forums and events, supported by the capability to upload videos, voice clips and photos. GivingRoom.com keeps its users current with who is doing what for whom.

As a member of GivingRoom, you have the ability to take your ideas of change and project them out there into the Internet and have them received by others who shares the same values. Together, those ideas become more than words. They become action!

You can generate attention to a cause that you feel strongly about by creating forums and posting events for that cause on your page. You can connect with charities, support them, learn about them and find out about opportunities to help. You can keep updated with which businesses are making a difference in the community and much more. GivingRoom is the one place (or a virtual room on the internet) where GIVING takes place. That's why we called it GivingRoom.
