- About Me:
- I'm just a person who believes in God and wants to show it in practical ways. I am very passionate about raising awareness and financial support for the needs of the orphans, caretakers and widows overseen by a small group of committed pastors and lay people in a village near Kericho, Kenya. Right now the big funding push is to raise funds to build a small refuge center for wayward and homeless boys. The overseers that I help support, also grow crops (mostly corn), help provide clean water, school supplies and daily necessities for the orphans and caretakers. I'd love to meet others on this site who want to help this cause in Kenya.
P.S. For you animal lovers, my profile photo is from the wildlife orphanage centre outside Nairobi, Kenya. Run by the Kenya Wildlife Service, this group could always use donations to help care for the orphaned animals they shelter.
